Browsing the website

The supplied page code does not include analytics, advertising trackers, embedded social feeds, account registration or third-party font services. Images, styles and scripts are requested from the website itself. Loading a website necessarily exposes connection information, including an IP address, to the infrastructure serving the request.

The hosting environment may process request logs for delivery, maintenance and security. These static files do not establish the hosting provider’s logging settings or retention periods. No claim of anonymous or log-free browsing is made.

The local planning note tool

Text entered into the contact tool is used in your browser to construct a plain-text preview. The tool does not send the draft to a server, submit a contact form, or intentionally save the draft in cookies, localStorage or sessionStorage.

Copying writes the note to your device’s clipboard when browser permissions allow it. Other applications or device features may have access to clipboard content. Downloading creates a text file on your device. You control the resulting clipboard entry and downloaded file. Browser autofill, session recovery, extensions and device backups operate independently of this tool.

Correspondence you choose to send

If you send email, your message may include your name, email address, content and technical metadata handled by the relevant email services. It can be used to read and respond to your enquiry, consider a correction, maintain a relevant correspondence record, or address abuse and legal obligations. The note tool itself does not transmit that email.

Share only what is necessary. Do not send passwords, payment details, access codes, identity documents or sensitive information about other people. A planning question generally does not require your exact home address.

Purposes, legal grounds and retention

Where data protection law applies, responding to an enquiry and protecting the website may rely on legitimate interests, subject to the rights and interests of the individual. A legal obligation may require particular processing or preservation. Consent is sought where required for optional technologies; the static page code does not itself load such technologies.

Correspondence should be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for its purpose, related follow-up and applicable legal requirements. There is no fixed retention period established by the local note tool because it does not retain a server-side draft.

Service providers and external links

Hosting and email providers may process information needed to deliver their services. Their processing locations and safeguards depend on the services used. We do not promise that information remains in a particular country. External reference links lead to independent websites with their own policies; opening them creates a separate connection.

These static pages contain no mechanism for selling personal information or sharing it for targeted advertising. Any separately supplied hosting or consent features must be assessed according to their actual configuration.

Your choices and rights

Depending on your location and the circumstances, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability, and to complain to a competent data protection authority. These rights can have exceptions. Contact [email protected] with a clear request; proportionate identity verification may be necessary.

You can clear browser data, delete downloaded notes and replace clipboard content on your device. Doing so does not delete an email already sent or records held by your email provider. See the cookies page for the distinction between cookies and other browser storage.
